Tarot Osho Zen 62. Comparison
The comparison produces the inferiority and superiority. When you do not make comparisons, any inferiority and superiority all disappear. In this case you are, it simply exists. A small shrub or a majestic tree - it does not matter, you are yourself. You are needed. A blade of grass is as necessary as the biggest star. Without that piece of grass, God would be less than what it is. The cuckoo is as necessary as a Buddha, the world would be diminished, would be less rich, if this cuckoo disappears. Look around. Everything you need, and everything is completed with the others. It is an organic unity: nessuno è superiore e nessuno è inferiore; nessuno è più in alto e nessuno è più in basso. Tutti sono incomparabilmente unici.

Chi è che ti ha detto che il bambù è più bello della quercia, o che la quercia ha più valore del bambù? Pensi che la quercia voglia avere un tronco cavo come questo bambù? O che il bambù sia invidioso perché la quercia è più grossa e le sue foglie cambiano colore in autunno? L'idea stessa che i due alberi facciano un confronto fra loro sembra ridicola, eppure sembra che noi esseri umani troviamo questa abitudine estremamente difficile to break. This evidence compared: there will always be someone better looking, more able, stronger, smarter, or more seemingly happy with you. And, on the other hand, there are always people who are "less" than you, in all these respects. The way to find out who you can not pass through the comparison with others, but by looking to see if you are realizing your potential in the best way you know.
